Souhir Hammami is an international energy and climate expert with 10 years expertise. Souhir is a multi-prestigious scholarships, fellowships and award winner with an electrical and automation engineering background, environment and climate policies and strategies in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Souhir has demonstrated track of record of establishing inter-continental partnerships and sustainable development strategies and mechanisms implementation.
Souhir is currently an Energy Efficiency Specialist within United Nations Environment Programme’s United for Efficiency Initiative (UNEP U4E). Souhir joined UNEP in late 2018 after spending several years in Germany, Egypt and Tunisia working on energy and climate policies. Souhir is currently managing ECOFRIDGES and RCOOL FI in Ghana, Senegal, and Rwanda, and engages more broadly across UNEP U4E’s portfolio to enhance linkages with related initiatives.
