Rwodah AlNaimi
Investment Department Manager at the Qatar Fund for Development
Ms. Rwodah Ibrahim AlNaimi brings extensive experience in international cooperation, sustainable development, innovation ecosystems, and strategic investments. She currently serves as Investment Department Manager at the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), where she leads the formulation and execution of investment strategies that integrate financial sustainability with high-impact development outcomes. Her role includes the deployment of innovative financial instruments, oversight of risk management frameworks, and strategic alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030, the Doha Programme of Action for LDCs, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—with a strong focus on development impact returns.
Previously, Ms. AlNaimi served as Director of Strategic Partnerships at QFFD, where she spearheaded global partnerships with governments, multilateral institutions, UN agencies, and international NGOs. Her leadership played a pivotal role in scaling QFFD’s international footprint and ensuring strategic coherence across its development portfolios.
She also held the position of Head of the Digital Innovation Enablement Section at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Qatar, where she designed and implemented national-level programs to empower entrepreneurs and startups, strengthen Qatar’s digital economy, and build a sustainable innovation ecosystem.
With over seven years of cross-sectoral experience in strategy development, innovation management, and sustainable finance, Ms. AlNaimi holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University and a Bachelor of International Affairs from Qatar University.
She is committed to driving catalytic capital, mobilizing private sector engagement, and scaling innovative solutions to achieve inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development.
