Dr. Kamran Iqbal has been working in Global Health & Health Systems Strengthening for the last 20 years. He has worked both for the public and the private sectors as a Chief, Senior Advisory, and Consulting roles. He has worked as a Public-Private Partnerships with the World Bank Group, Health Systems Strengthening Advisor with the Population Services International (PSI), Pakistan, Senior Advisor Sindh Health Care Commission, Chief Operating Officer at Sina Healthcare, Head of Marketing Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan in the past.
Kamran is the Founder and Curator of the Global Shapers Hub of Karachi (an initiative of the World Economic Forum). From qualifications, he is a Bernard Lown Scholar at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, studied Social Entrepreneurship from INSEAD, and Global Health & Equity Fellowship from George Washington Milken Institute of Global Health. He is a licensed physician and graduate alumni of Ziauddin University, where he is also a Founding President of the Ziauddin University Alumni Association.
His passion is to solve complex problems using creative solutions in healthcare domain. He is always curious and learning. He is a proud husband and a father of two kids.
