John is currently an adviser to a privately owned Qatari company investing in healthcare and technology development projects and is the General Manager of a Qatar free zone company focusing on sports technology in rugby and other elite sports. During 2023, he mentored TASMU Accelerator start-up Doktorconnect, a digital health platform that provides access to personalized medical care using a comprehensive wellness-based approach, mental health screening, and genetic analysis for chronic disease prevention and management. From the 2023 cohort, Doktorconnect was selected as a healthcare track finalist. John continues to advise the Doktorconnect team as the business is established in Qatar. He is also involved in setting up a specialist consulting firm in the UAE as the Head of Healthcare Practice for Making Change Work (MCW).
