Ibrahim Seksek
COO and Head of Talent for MENA, Africa and Russia of Startupbootcamp

Ibrahim Seksek is the current COO and Head of Talent for MENA, Africa and Russia of Startupbootcamp, a Rainmaking company, before joining Startupbootcamp he was the Chief Operation Officer (COO) and Co-Founder of ZenHR Solutions, which is a UAE-based online group of companies that addresses the entire HR cycle from “Acquire” to “Retire”. He was responsible for overseeing the technology, marketing, and HR departments, as well as the company’s growth and support of new markets, products, services and features.

Previous to founding ZenHR he served as COO and head of Operations and Marketing with Dubizzle, a UAE-based online website for classified Ads offering users the ability to buy, sell and find things within their community. Prior to joining Dubizzle corporate, he also worked as Head of Global Operations Support for Naspers, the parent company of Dubizzle, to oversee the operations of 70 countries.

Among Ibrahim’s past achievements include the founding of Crystel, Jordan’s first business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, which grew from 6 employees to 700 in 6 years. His first job entailed working in a call center for a technology company named Teletech, where he quickly earned a supervisor position managing the Verizon project. Thereafter, he moved to the client side at Verizon as the youngest-ever director to supervise customer support and technical support, along with 11,000 employees across 8 international locations, including Ireland, Philippines, Qatar, US, and Canada.

Ibrahim currently serves as a mentor at Oasis500, Startup Weekend and Mowgli Foundation as well as a trainer at the Business Development Center (BDC). In 2010, he won the Contact Center Industry Champion award for customer service at Contact Center World.
