Dr. Shihad is Head of Digital at Aster DM Healthcare , one of the largest Private healthcare corporation in the Gulf and Asia pacific region. He started his career as a healthcare marketer and then worked various healthcare brands from pharma, provider, payer and medical equipment while he was heading healthcare communication and brand strategy agency. Later, he pursued master ‘s in public health from university of Edinburgh and conferred MPH. He started his career as an entrepreneur building a healthcare communication agency with offices in India and Singapore. Subsequently he worked with leading healthcare brands in Asia and the Middle East as brand strategy and marketing consultant. Having worked both in Healthcare agency and corporate roles, as well as multinational plc’s and SME’s Dr Shihad possesses the ability to understand the business of healthcare from every angle – Payer, Provider, Patient, pharma and Regulatory.
